Billy Mayes went on to be the Town Clerk & the Billy Mayes room in Civic Centre is named after him. George Wright went on to be Station Master of Portadown Station.

The photo shows those ladies who represented the Wade factory in a Portadown ladies factory soccer tournament in the late 40's & 50's. The photo was taken at Shamrock Park. The keeper Sam Forbes,middle row fourth left,who emigrated to Canada,went on to play for Portadown. He was the goalie at Shamrock Park in 1947-48,the club's first season back in the Irish League after the War.
